Calm and Restorative Bedroom Retreat

The Challenge: Transform an understated D.C. bedroom with cool-toned palette and scattered decorative elements into an open, airy, mid-century modern/bohemian retreat.

The Solution: A strategic redesign that achieved both functional mastery and personal style. The redesign started with a foundational palette shift, then integrated existing, second-hand, and new finds and customized solutions to address challenging storage limitations. The result is a highly efficient space where every element—from the layered textiles to the functional lighting—captured the owners’ style and their need to unwind and recharge.
